All material culture and non-material culture compose of history. Non-material culture is referred to as the thoughts or idealisations of a culture.
Contrary to material culture, no physical objects or artefacts are included in the culture. Any thoughts, views, values and standards that might help shape society are manifestations of non-material culture.
Non-material culture contributes to the abstract concepts and thought that form a culture.
For example, traffic law, vocabulary and codes of conduct contain non-material society.
